How to Apply

Applications for the Numeric Teaching Academy are now open. The application deadline for the 2018 intake is Friday, 8 September, 2017. Candidates should complete the online application form, taking care to upload all required documentation. Applications can be saved and revised prior to submission, but following submission, no edits can be made.

Application Process

  • 1. Online Application: Interested candidates should submit the online application form uploading copies of their matric certificate, id document, and most recent university transcripts.
  • 2. Interviews: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for group interviews in late September.
  • 3. Provisional Acceptance: Successful interviewees will be awarded Teaching Fellowships, conditional upon their acceptance into the UNISA PGCE program. Candidates will be asked to submit all necessary documentation to the Academy for this application.
  • 4. Confirmation: Following admission into UNISA, the Teaching Fellowship is confirmed and candidates are supplied with dates for the coach training in December.

Please note: You do not have to apply to UNISA yourselves. If are you accepted into the Academy, we will submit an application on your behalf as part of our partnership with UNISA.
